Notifications not working after Android restart

    Esther, thanks for the feedback.  Depending on the Android version and device there are multiple ways to optimize app behavior.  In this specific case with the Samsung Galaxy S8, there are a couple of things to confirm that will allow push notifications to be received after a restart of the device.  First, even if the settings are correct, it will take a few minutes before push notifications will display.  If they still don't show, then go into the Android Settings and choose Apps.  From there find the IBM Watson Workspace app and select it.  Verify the settings for "Allow background activity" is enabled.  Also check the setting for "Optimized battery usage" and verify the IBM Watson Workspace app is selected in that list.  This should allow the appropriate background services to run after a device restart.
