I am looking for a way to tag some content as "long-term" relevant so that i can find it again without scrolling back. This possibly also allows some versioning - if updates to the document happen, it should be recognized and i get the latest version, while the history is maintained (if i scroll back, i should also have (optional) access to the version shared at that point in time.
This should be easy in case a document is in an external store (and so versioned there) - but the integration must be intelligent.
It will be a bit harder in case the document is stored within a space, since then a new version needs to be recognised as "same doc, new version". So if i just share a new version (from my desk) the system may want to compare file name etc to see if its a doc already in the space. I imagine that workspace asks "is this the current version of ... that document"? if it guesses this.
