So our initial plans here (and what the team is actively working on now) is to first indicate versions.  So if you share a file today and another version of the same file tomorrow - in the conversation, the second version will be indicated as v2.  In the drawer - which is where we'll store the files, we'll likely maintain the last version although it will also include v2 and we are exploring "versioning" where you can access the previous versions.

Great. How will you detect that it's the "same" - by file name possibly?

    Yes, that's the plan

    Wait... excuse me...
Hasn't this problem been solved by Box already?

Why would we want yet another versioning document repository?

This is a drawer that shows all the content that has been shared in a space, in context of the conversation.  We are also working on the intersect with box as the actual backend repository, but visualization alongside the conversation is important so that I don't have to jump between two different tools

RE: this file sharing you're discussing...does it allow for simultaneous editing of a document by multiple members of the space - similar to Google Docs?

How  do we remove a file once added to a space?

@Joseph - I know this is something that is actively being worked but do not have an ETA for you but we are looking into this.

Hi Ruth, we don't have Co-editing yet but agree that's important!
