When I run this command, some of the spaces have the title of just a dash: "-".  These are Direct Message spaces, I believe.  Test this out by going to the url https://workspace.ibm.com/direct/<id> where the id is returned from your graphql query.

That's interesting. I just get a list of the few public channels that I'm a meber of. There are no spaces with just a dash. Even if i reduce the query to the id I just get the public channels.

"is there a way to get a list of my direct messages spaces? "

Not yet.  These are on the list to get enabled, but unfortunately no ETA on them.   Is there a use case you can describe that is calling for this functionality?

I don't know about Lars, but I have a use case: surface in other applications (such as IBM Connections) a list of unread DMs, and provide a way to respond to them without going to the Workspace UI.

We were thinking about exporting some of the Information of DMs into other systems like a CRM.

    Hi,

    any news on this?

I'm currently working on an Alexa Skill and other "Smart" integrations and would like to have an option to get access to direct messages ("Alexa, ask Watson Workspace for new messages since yesterday" or "Alexa, ask Watson Workspace to write a new message to lthielker@de.ibm.com"...

    Thanks,

    Michael

    Hello Michael,

This functionality is understood.  Currently it is in the backlog, but providing info on impact/benefit for it could help bump its current priority higher
