Simple and sweet!  Got it!  Definitely believe that collaborating in notes is critical.

What about Google Docs or MS Office integration as well?

We are definitely exploring all tools that end users require to do their work as integrations.

Those editors are all linked with repositories. If we had a good integration with those repositories, the editors would come more or less for free.

Do you all typically use one "editor" for notes or jump across several (Google Docs, MS Office, IBM Docs, etc)?

I think for taking notes none of these editors are a good choice. These are for editing office documents.

An editor for note taking should be more similar to solutions like Evernote, Apple Notes or OneNote. Those want to force you into their own ecosystem and may not be the best target for integration.

Things I expect from a note taking tool are:

    • easy text entry with markdown support
    • camera integration and document scanning
    • handwriting with text recognition
    • scribbling - with support for basic object (circle, rectangle, ...)
    • Tagging, folders or notebooks
    • sharing, collaboration and task management with integration in task managers and calendars
    • offline - a must for taking digital notes in meetings

I believe such a note taking tool would greatly enhance Workspace, especially if the tool was enhanced with cognitive features.

I use (and advocate the use of) IBM-Docs. One of IBM's best kept secrets. If you can integrate that with WW that would be so cool (and as it's IBM owned, fewer issues with security/privacy)
