Now that we have topics (yay), I'd really like to be able to make the sidebar take up the full width of the screen. And/or dynamically size it. (And, best I can tell, this would be a feature Slack doesn't currently have either?)

  So true :) and making that sidebar expand is definitely part of our plan. (Not just for topics but a larger view of the resource drawer as more artifacts get reflected there -meetings, links, etc)
